About Amg Atelier

AMG are my initials “Anna Maria Guiraud” because I wanted there to be a part of “me” in the name. And especially my last name because I think you can say that sewing runs in the family. Indeed, it was my mother who taught me to sew and who passed on this passion to me. When she was younger she sewed her own clothes and was attracted to being a costume designer. On my father's side there was a tailor for men in the family, but above all it was my grandmother who was herself a seamstress, or as she was called at the time “pantyress”. In fact, I recently found a treasure: her sewing lessons when she was younger, with patterns that she made herself! And ATELIER refers to craftsmanship and sewing, which are two essential elements in my business. Moreover, all my accessories are offered in limited editions. My first proposed accessory (and bestseller): the scrunchie! In my shop you will find all my collections: foulchies, makeup remover wipes, pie bags... And I am preparing lots of nice new things right now! In my workshop I sew all my creations with passion and great care. My favorite part: going in search of original and elegant fabrics. And as I am for responsible fashion, my fabrics meet at least one of these criteria: Oeo-tex and/or GOTS certified, made in France, from dormant stocks or scraps.
