Bobamon is all about our love and appreciation of boba tea. It’s seriously hard not to love boba. The flavors, the chewy tapioca balls, the color...it’s one of the most magical drink experiences maybe ever. But, what we admire even more is how boba has transcended cultural boundaries. The word boba alone has become universal! You could be almost anywhere in the world, and you’ll likely find a boba shop. We think it’s pretty amazing that a drink could bring together so many people just like that. As foodies and diehard boba lovers ourselves, we know how powerful food is as a medium to translate culture. Through owning a bubble tea shop, we also realized how much we love plushies. Growing up with Sanrio and Disney, we couldn’t get enough of them! Decorating the shop with the plushies we love, we saw how many people also loved plushies too. So, combining our love for boba and plushies, we created Bobamon: a series of lovable characters that channels and celebrates the carefree feelings that boba brings out in all of us.
