Hey there! I’m Sareka Unique an Artist, Illustrator, Designer and Creator of bright, fun colorful things. I Grew up in Detroit Michigan and studied Visual Communication Technology at Bowling Green State I fell in love with Illustration and Surface Pattern Design and have been using my love of color to transform products and create artwork that evokes a sense of vibrancy and joy. I am Passionate about, art, design, creativity and individuality. My purpose is to bring color and happiness into people's lives and to help them find and embrace their unique voice. I love working with color. Color has a way of telling people how they should feel and what they should think. I love using color as a tool that brings happiness through my artwork. When creating sometimes I just start with pencil and paper other times I allow the colors to tell me where they want to go and what form they want to take. Using a variation of strokes and mark making I allow the colors to playfully come together until I am satisfied. I then scan what I have created into photoshop or illustrator and continue the process there of changing colors if I need to and creating patterns and placements for products.Read their story
