Founded in April 2020, the name Infusion stemmed from my experiences of growing up in two very different worlds. I was born in Chicago and raised between two cultures, bouncing back and forth between them at any given point. Many cultural influences were constantly being infused into my life. I soon learned that every day is a new opportunity to embrace the confluence of experiences that have shaped me into the person I am today, a South Asian American woman. I created Infusion as a way to bring people back to their roots. It’s my way of celebrating the dualities in my life and focusing on highlighting South Asian culture and heritage with the goal of encouraging cross-cultural bonds. My goal for Infusion Candle Co., is to create products that embrace this part of my identity and further South Asian awareness in America, as each scented candle is inspired by a different aspect of South Asian culture. I want this brand to comprise of more than just a candle company, but a cultural hub that brings people together and has people thinking about different aspects of our culture. Infusion candles are an expression of the duality that shapes you and a reminder to embrace it. Infusion Candle Co., embarks on an inner journey back to your roots; where you are born, raised, strengthened, but also challenged with the contrast between the two worlds around you. Infusion reminds us that we don’t have to choose one over the other, and we can celebrate them both instead.
