There’s nothing better than a wholesome nibble to satisfy a craving. But what if you and your customers could help a local farmer and the planet with that same bite? Harvest Maine is a locally-sourced healthy snack company and what makes us unique is our sourcing of raw materials. We buy tons of oddly-shaped and blemished veggies as well as byproducts from within the local food system. In doing so, we create opportunities for hard working farmers while also addressing upstream food waste. Launched in July 2022, Harvest Maine started with 3 varieties of veggie spread: Broccomole, Celery Root/Red Pepper, and Beet/Carrot. The recipes are simple and full of flavor. Brighten up a charcuterie board, spread on a sandwich, doctor up a pasta dish, or simply serve on a cracker. And Harvest Maine is not stopping there. In the summer of 2024, we will bring to market a new item that makes use of by-products from the fruit juicing process. Let’s work together and bring healthy snacks to your discerning customers.
