Carolina CreekHouse started at the kitchen sink with our Founder Shannon Blake! She used to buy 3-4 of the same inexpensive fiber rugs, one to keep in front of her sink to protect her wood floors and 2-3 to keep as backups. Even with regular washing, the rugs would be so disgusting she would just throw them out and replace them with one of the matching backups. Her 20+ years in consumer products and a determination to find a better solution led Shannon to wipeable, vinyl mats and the start of Carolina CreekHouse.
