About BEADBAGS

At Beadbags, we stand for true sustainability — and we do it with heart! We take a holistic look at preventing plastic in our waters. We started over 10 years ago with our partners in Cambodia and produce there under the umbrella of the WFTO. Our customers love the heart-filled backpacks, bags and other accessories made there from recycled rice and cement bags, for example. We use the terms lake and riverbound plastic here, as we prevent plastic from entering rivers and bodies of water there through upcycling. We have often received feedback from our customers that our colorful bags are fun with their great style and make everyday life easier thanks to their very tear-resistant, sturdy yet lightweight materials. In summer 2023, we will round out our range and launch our new Beadbags Ocean line of backpacks and fanny packs (designed in Germany), whose outer materials consist of 50% recycled oceanbound plastic and 50% recycled PET bottles. The Beadbags Ocean line is produced by us with a German partner in China in compliance with strict guidelines and, thanks to the innovative material, impresses with extremely lightweight, super-stylish products, where backpacks in particular stand out due to their enormous potential for storage options. Since 2022, we have been an official partner of the UN Oceans Decade 2021-2030.
