About Protella

Our products are traditionally made in our own factory, Panacella Factory, located in Vilafranca del Penedés (Spain), and everything is packaged in a Special Employment Center where we collaborate to help people with disabilities. The Panacella Factory is a traditional factory specialized in the production of chocolate in its different forms and varieties: spreads, snacks, toppings... We believe in making healthy products that are also incredibly tasty and exquisite, going beyond flavor and taste; our goal is to evoke emotions in people. HOW DID PROTELLA START? The Protella® brand was born in 2017 in response to the market demand for sustainably made chocolate products suitable for those concerned about healthy eating habits. After months of research with one of the most expert maître chocolatiers in Spain, we developed a line of products with very distinguished flavors and quality. Before Protella, the common market thought was: Delicious + Sweet + Texture = Unhealthy food. Our mission is to make products that are: Delicious + Gourmet + Sweet + Great Texture = Compatible with a healthy diet.

Bliss Gourmet Baked Goods Inc

Bliss Gourmet Baked Goods Inc. is founded by two Italian descendants in Winnipeg, 2015. Bliss Gourmet Baked Goods are hand-crafted authentic Italian recipes that have been passed down three generations. We have strong family ties to Italian culture, which was instilled within us by our father, who gave us the drive to share the traditions. Growing up in the family business, working alongside our father, we developed the art and fueled our passion for baking. Our baked goods have symbolic meaning to us, so carrying on our father’s recipes and continuing our father’s legacy makes us feel closer to him.

The Shortbread Company

A mother-daughter team pouring two generations of care and craftsmanship into every handmade cookie they bake. Rose-Mary Sweetman | Cookie originator and bakeshop boss extraordinaire When you’re a woman who reads cookbooks like novels, it’s no surprise when food goes from being an interest to a calling. Whether raising her kids, running a Christmas tree farm or quickly rising through the ranks of corporate training, Rose-Mary always drew on her love of cooking and baking to bring joy and comfort to herself, her family and her friends. It’s now been over 15 years since she started taking her celebrated cookies to local farmers’ markets and lit the spark that ignited The Shortbread Company. Stroop Club

It all started out in Holland, where founder Chantal Piët grew up. When she was a little girl, her grandmother, or Oma, introduced Chantal to stroopwafels. Chantal loved the way that the gooey caramel syrup was spread between two waffles - especially when it was heated over a cup of coffee or in the oven. In 2015, Chantal and her husband decided to move to the United States in search of adventure. They realized that sharing stroopwafels with people they met, allowed them to share a little bit of themselves, while they learn more about others. And thus, StroopClub was born. Avid scuba divers and hikers, the pair knew from the beginning that if they wanted to feel good about what they were creating, they would need to make sure they pursued the most eco-friendly business practices. At their core, stroopwafels are an ode to a zero-waste lifestyle. They were created as a use for a Dutch baker's leftover dough scraps. We strive to continue in this ideal and leave as little waste as possible by using repurposed packaging as much as possible and sustainable business practices. We spend our whole lives to make connections to and learn from others. That is why our central value in whatever direction we go, we aim to connect with others and to remain a bridge between cultures, people, and stories. "We hope that our stroopwafels will be a little aid for you to make new connections, share stories and make memories or at least, adds a little sweetness to your day!" - Chantal -
