Catcher and Caught is a minimal and graphic jewellery collection launched by Scottish artist Caroline Ruiz-Gallacher. Caroline started the brand in 2018 in Edinburgh attending local makers markets. The collection draws inspiration from art to architecture to make flattering and lightweight jewellery. Strong feminine is the brand ethos and each piece is designed to be worn everyday whether a colourful statement piece or minimal everyday essential. Caroline originally trained as an artist. After several years working on Sculptural Installation artwork, she also trained in Silversmithing, which enabled her to explore and play with different materials and forms to create wearable jewellery pieces. This love of material exploration has crossed over from her days as a sculptural artist and her constantly evolving jewellery collection is made in Scotland with love.
