About Jelly-Smack

Growing up near the beach, we know all too well the pain of jellyfish ruining a perfectly good beach day. The stench of a vinegar at-home-remedy and the sting of welts usually mean we're stuck indoors. But during the pandemic, we found ourselves spending more time in the water and encounter the annual sea nettles that came out to play. We tried every home remedy, even the ones sold on the shelves, but nothing took the sting away. Frustrated and determined, we decided to take matters into our own hands and create a product that actually works. After months of research and teaming up with some brilliant chemists, we stumbled upon a solution to minimize the side effects of jellyfish stings. In the fall of 2020, we launched Jelly-Smack (which is a group or bloom of jellyfish) online and started spreading the word in the Gulf Shores market. By mid-2021, we started receiving numerous inquiries about local availability of our products. In response to this demand, we decided to collaborate with locally owned businesses who shared an interest in carrying our products. To this day, these partnerships are the most important part of our go to market strategy. We pride ourselves in customer focus and the best service we can deliver.
