About HiLo's Scrubs

Hi, we are Kyna and Nicole! We are both lactation consultants and healthcare providers, and our vision is to create a functional and comfortable scrub that can meet all the different kinds of job functions and demands out there while looking good doing it! Kyna is the founder of HiLo Scrubs, and as a Lactation Consultant, she has worked in hospitals, clinics, and private practice. While going from house to house helping mommies and babies, she found she needed a more FUNCTIONAL scrub bottom, instead of pants. She was tired of being too hot in client's homes and at the hospital. After cutting and hemming her own scrub pants to make shorts and capris, she was immediately relieved from the restrictive pants as she worked and felt instantly cooler! That led her to thinking,"maybe others can benefit from this idea too." Enter Nicole! We met as lactation consultants and immediately became great friends. Kyna knew she needed a partner to help design and support the business, and Nicole was one that she thought would be a great fit as she revealed her love for design. Our scrubs are designed with multiple roles in mind. Whether you work outside, with animals, on floors, therapy tables, assessment mats, home health care, on the sidelines, in a classroom, at an outside work function/fair, fundraiser, or at testing sites, everyone deserves to feel comfortable!
