Opeful Press is a letterpress print shop based in Kansas City, Kansas, founded by creative duo Jess and Lily. With a shared love of design, the pair have been collaborating since 2016 and launched Opeful in 2024, specializing in greeting cards, stationery, and limited edition prints- each crafted with a blend of wit, charm and a lot of love. Every piece is handmade using vintage mid-20th century letterpress machines, specifically a Heidelberg windmill and Kluge press, whom they lovingly call Heide and Effie, respectively. Opeful Press is lucky enough to be housed where Lily runs Public Print, which is a print shop in KCK specializing in wedding stationery and small batch printing. Jess works there with Lily and also owns her own digital print shop, called colorblokc. Opeful Press combines traditional techniques with fresh, creative ideas and a love for detail, to make products that stand out for their craftsmanship and thoughtful design.
