About Vessel Candle Co

Sarah Ducas & Ariana Lewis have been making candles since 2013. Owned and operated by a couple of sisters (Sarah married Ari’s brother), Vessel Candle Co was born in 2013. The soon to be sister-in-laws lived together and spent most of their free time creatively making and began playing with pouring their own candles. What began as a fun weekend hobby quickly turned into a side hustle alongside full times jobs (Sarah was in interior design + Ari was in hotel marketing). Now nine years later, Vessel Candle Co has evolved into the strong and proud little business it is today. All of the creations at Vessel Candle Co are carefully curated with the intention to make people feel refreshed, relaxed, and comforted in their spaces. Through this, people will feel at peace in their sacred spaces which in turn shifts the collective energy of the planet in small but effective ways. Vessel candles are hand poured in small batches using a blend of coconut and soy waxes for a clean, eco-friendly burn. All candles use a lead-free cotton wick and high-quality fragrance and essential oils that are phthalate-free with no additives or dyes. As we are makers at our core, all of our products are developed, produced, tested, packed, and shipped by our two person team out of our studio in Worcester, MA.
