Anisa Asakawa is an artist living in Portland, Oregon. As the daughter of a botanist and a forester, Anisa’s reverence for nature is the focus of her expression as an artist. Daily, mindful nature walks are followed by painting meditations that aim to create immersive scenes that cause a vibration in the soul of the viewer in order to inspire peaceful joy and to remind them of their deeper connection with the universe. Anisa holds a BFA in Fine Art from the Sam Fox School of Design and Visual Art at Washington University in St. Louis.
