Brut de Cuir is a Bordeaux-based brand created in 2022. Behind Brut de Cuir is Maïlys, just 30 years old and a new mom. I decided to embark on the great adventure of entrepreneurship as a creator of earrings. Why earrings? Simply because I'm one of those women who feel like they're going out naked when they leave the house without earrings. Because in my eyes, earrings are much more than just jewelry; they are an accessory in their own right, as important as a handbag or a pair of heels. Synonymous with femininity, earrings can be worn just as well with an evening dress as with jeans and sneakers. My earrings are handmade to order and with a lot of love. Leather, a noble material, with its different textures and colors, its smell that I adore. Most of my leathers are recycled, some come from luxury houses or shoe manufacturers. And glitter for fun because I admit, I love everything that shines. I have only one motto, as long as it shines! And I have only one desire, to put glitter on your ears to make your outfits sparkle. I am delighted to create earrings that resemble me and that could also please you and suit you perfectly.
