Who hasn’t always dreamt about finding a message in a bottle? Whether you grew up near the sea or not, we believe we’ve all had dreams of secrets shared from distant shores. "We wanted to make something new and delicious with a look that would jump off the shelf and a taste that would be complex right out of the bottle.” says Jon Lessans. “Inspiration can strike at the most unexpected times and places. A series of synchronicities led to the creation of the Bloody Mary mix. Quite frankly, I have never liked tomato juice or Blood Marys as a matter of fact. I’ve tried them a handful of times in my life only to say, “nope, not for me.” Truly I have always wanted to like them. The taste just never met the expectation in my mind for how I imagined it would be. So when the inspiration struck it was a mission to create a flavor of how I always felt it would taste. A Bloody Mary that when anyone who would drink it, Bloody Mary lovers or not, the response would be “wow, that’s good!” No doctoring or modifying.
