We’re Hoa and Phung, two sisters with a deep love for journaling, planning, and all things stationery. Our love for stationery started early. Growing up, Phung and I did almost everything together—whether it was writing in our diaries, doodling in notebooks, or creating handmade cards for friends and family. When it came time for university, we found ourselves on different paths. Phung moved to the United States to pursue her career in design, while I headed to Canada to dive into Marketing and Entrepreneurship. We ended up living apart for over five years, separated by distance and a global pandemic. When we finally reunited, we realized just how much we missed the joy of creating and dreaming together. We started thinking: how could we bring back that sense of closeness and shared passion? With Hoa, who is a marketer with a flair for storytelling, and Phung, a designer and illustrator passionate about bringing ideas to life, we decided to combine our love for creativity and all things stationery by launching Primary Blooms. We envisioned a brand that captures the magic of putting pen to paper, whether it’s capturing a fleeting thought, writing a heartfelt letter, or journaling your personal journey. Our mission became clear: to create vibrant, meaningful products that inspire others to express themselves fully, just like we have always loved doing together.
