Affordable! 100% #vegan 100% # The Butters spawned from collision of necessity, curiosity, and a lack of funds in the winter of 2015. My problems: how to take care of my thin & moisture resistant hair, stop my skin from looking ashy, and fulfill my new relationships’ incredible demand for quality friction assistance. I’d tried the typical options from salon to dollar store and continued my life long streak of over-priced disappointment. Since I’ve got decades of home & professional cooking experience, the bravery of ignorance, and a lot of free time as an underemployed college educated millennial, I figured I’d see if I could make something myself. I ended up making The Butters Original, The Butters Lube, and a lot of people really happy, to my surprise. I love my destiny’s children but the positive reception still shocked me. It also convinced to keep working. Within a year The Butters Hygienics Co. became a thing. The Butters exists because you’re not crazy. Store products suck. With The Butters, it’s my goal to provide high quality, personal solutions that truly don’t. Plus, I want to offer them at a price even my broke ass can afford. Despite what national brands tell you, it’s really their size and complexity that limit the quality and value of their products. On the other hand, The Butters is a brand based on simplicity, honesty, and ingenuity.
