We are Alejo and Jisseth, a Spaniard and a Colombian who met in the midst of our shared passion for travel and getting to know new cultures. We are eternally in love with the wealth of craftsmanship of the places we visit and this is how THALILU was born. After getting to know the culture of Colombia and other Latin American countries, we decided that more people should know these techniques, wear these colors, understand and above all, give value to these works that have been transmitted from generation after generation between families. There are hundreds of brands that resell handicrafts, without even knowing the hands involved in the process, they also do not know the culture and the importance of preserving these traditions, in the vast majority of cases it is easy to take advantage of the scarcity of resources and education in which these artisans unfortunately live, a high rate of this population has great basic needs, they reside in scattered areas of the urban area and the opportunities for work and sale of handicrafts to people from the same region is almost nil, which is why in most cases they poorly sell their art, their work and even their tradition, since it is the only alternative they find to bring food to your home.
