Inspired by nature, from our deep Australian roots. Two Summit County sisters and our father creating a little piece of Colorado for each of our customers. Our founder and beloved father, Graeme, made his way into the souvenir business in the mid 80s and by the early 2000s he explored the idea of creating garments. He had a vision to create garments that were unique and thoughtful; he wanted to bring something different to the market, something no one else had. In 2003, Uluru was born as the perfect way to pay homage to Graeme’s homeland and bring some of his Australian memories to his new home. Uluru is a clothing brand that is inspired by nature which provides the vision for our garments using the colors that surround us. The rock appears to change colors based on different times of the day and year, especially during dawn and sunset where it glows its famous red color. While on a trip to Machu Picchu in 2015, Graeme and Alison learned about the quality of cotton and garments that come from Peru. Peruvian cotton is well known to be some of the finest cotton in the world. From this trip, the vision of Uluru evolved. Graeme, Alison and Ariel began visiting Peru in search of garment manufacturers who could develop their vision of Uluru. Today, Uluru has evolved into a family run apparel brand that has a community ethos here in Colorado and Peru. We focus on making clothing that is stylish, comfortable, and goes the extra mile when it comes to color and fit. Read their story
