Unsun Cosmetics provides all natural, clean beauty products for individuals of all skin tones – from the fairest shades to the darkest of chocolates. Founded by Katonya Breaux in 2016, with the launch of the Unsun Mineral Tinted Face SPF 30, after much frustration by the lack of options within sunscreen products for women of color. Unsun Cosmetics is dedicated to the education of sun protection and the importance of skin care. "Having worn sunscreen diligently since my twenties I had to tolerate the white film that it left behind on my face. Why wasn’t there a viable alternative for someone with my complexion out there? So, like most things in my life, I decided to do something about it. I created Unsun specifically to address the residue that is often left behind when opting for a natural sun protector. The desire to protect our skin from the sun should not mean having to wear foundation in order to cover the white and gray film that’s present after application. UNSUN was specially formulated with a mineral tint to address this concern. Tested on tones that range from olive to the darkest of chocolate, UNSUN meets the challenge."Read their story
