My journey started when I couldn’t find a shampoo for my dog, Ellie, that she wasn't allergic to. Bath time was frustrating and upsetting as she suffered from hot spots and skin irritation. Knowing that most liquid shampoos contained harmful and synthetic ingredients, I decided to make a natural bar shampoo. After researching and experimenting with recipes, Happy Dog was created! It was named for Ellie because bath time turned into a joyful experience, leaving us both feeling happy. No plastic bottle and little waste was a bonus! When I shared the shampoo with friends and family whose dogs had different skin conditions, they were amazed at its soothing and gentle nature. They also found it easy to use a bar rather than a slippery bottle. Soon, I was busy making shampoo every weekend. With so much positive feedback I launched Cordoba Farms creating natural, plastic-free, dog shampoo bars. The OG formulas were inspired by Ellie’s “pack” and their specific skin and coat needs. With the success of our shampoo and listening to our customers needs for more natural dog grooming products, we expanded our product line to include balms, deodorizers, anti-itch sprays, sunscreen, tooth powder and cat shampoo! Every product is hand-crafted in small batches to ensure the highest quality. We only use ingredients that won’t irritate or dry out your dog's skin while protecting their coat. Combined with our eco-friendly packaging makes it a smarter choice for the earth and your pet.🌍🐾
