The brand “Caffè Pontevecchio Firenze” was born in 2014 from an idea by Alfonso Petrella. Alfonso, born in Campania but Florentine by adoption, brings with him the tradition and culture of coffee from his homeland; from Florence he appreciates the art of beauty, the meticulous search for attention to detail and elegance in all its expressions. Starting from his passion, Alfonso studies, attends training courses and visits the various roasters to learn more about the phases of production and transformation of the coffee bean. This also allows him to develop his own idea of artisanal coffee. For this purpose, he researches and selects the best single-origins, consults with local roasters and studies the artisanal coffee blends that reflect his vision. The name of the brand wants to represent both the high quality of the product and the elegance of the city where it originated: Florence. The colors of CPF are black and gold: the background is black like the color of roasted coffee, gold the logo that represents the goldsmith shops of Ponte Vecchio.
