It all began with a simple act of kindness: the day our founder Elsie Hamilton brought home Lilly from the Denver Dumb Friends League in 2010. Lilly, an Australian Shepherd, had been living on the streets, and was consequently a very furry and fuzzy dog who shed obsessively. When Elsie brought Lilly home, she soon discovered the aussie’s fondness of the couch-- which quickly collected tufts of fur and piles of dog hair. Elsie had been sick and was home recovering, and since she was unable to do anything strenuous (such as lifting a vacuum), she needed a new way to clean the couch and all the areas that had collected Lilly’s fur. Elsie had already used up the one sticky roller that she had, and had no way to retrieve another one-- so she looked for something else to clean off the fur from the couch. The first thing that worked was a toothbrush. Thus, the emergence of a grand idea: the first Lilly Brush was made out of a toothbrush and a block of wood Here at Lilly Brush, we focus on making a product that lasts. Our product is guaranteed to be better than anything else you’ve tried-- including sticky rollers and plastic-wasting tools. Because of our environmental consciousness and drive to create a long-lasting product, our focus is primarily the customer. One of the things we love most is the chance to work with our customers, and our goal is to pleasantly delight and surprise them over and over again! Read their story
