I’m an illustrator and modern calligrapher and create all my work by hand using dip pens, inks, watercolours and crayons. I’m inspired by the natural world and the romantic designs of decorative arts. I was very fortunate to have been taught by Quentin Blake who encouraged my flowing style. The printers use carbon neutral print presses in a solar-powered warehouse. The studio waste is recycled, composted, or incinerated at a nearby steam power station which generates electricity for the local area. I use biodegradable bubble wrap, British-made tissue paper, brown paper sticky tape, recycled brown wrapping paper and reused boxes for all my packaging.
