Hi, I am Ashleigh Lian, the maker behind The Flower Girl Studios, based in Bristol, UK. I am on a mission to make gifting a little more sustainable and always creating with this in mind. I mainly make plantable seed cards, 100% recycled and then embedded with a bee friendly range of wildflower seeds for planting after use. It's a little alternative to the mass produced cards that would simply end up in the recycle bin, giving a little something back to the planet instead. This thinking has also spilled over into some of my other makes, using the same seed paper in my organisers, list pads and planners. My designs and art styles are quite varied, with my three focus areas being bold tattoo style illustrations, intricately detailed lino prints and brightly coloured flowery fruity patterns. I used to tattoo for 6 years until anxiety got the better of me, so a lot of my inspiration comes from that past, along with my love of nature and everything outdoors.
