Founded by James Cadbury, inspired by his great-great-great grandfather, Love Cocoa was created in 2016 with the purpose of producing delicious, high-quality chocolate in an ethical and sustainable way. The mainstream chocolate industry is a major contributor to global warming, deforestation and modern slavery; Love Cocoa wants to break the pattern. We are committed to protecting both people and planet at every step of the production process, whilst also creating great-tasting chocolate. To date, we have planted over a million trees to fight against climate change. With an aim to reinvent chocolate by replacing dairy with plant-based oat milk, H!P was then founded by James Cadbury in early 2021. In the 19th century, the Cadbury family revolutionised confectionery by producing one of the first milk chocolate bars. Nearly 200 years later, H!P is disrupting the chocolate market by rejecting the widespread dependence on dairy milk through the use of oat milk, a creamy and sustainable alternative. Read their story
