Established in 2017, Wag City Clothing takes great pride in creating ethically-made products in the heart of Los Angeles. All of our tees are made with deadstock fabric which—for those of you not familiar with the term—is surplus fabric from larger manufacturers that usually ends up incinerated, or worse, in our landfills. Wag City Clothing values animals, the environment and humanity as a whole. That is why we focus on producing sustainable, high-quality clothing that brings together fashion and function. We uplift and support our diverse community by partnering with local minority-owned manufacturers. Our uncomplicated designs feature fun prints and buttery soft fabric that will make you envy your pup's wardrobe. Originally from Texas, Rocio moved to LA in 2009 to pursue her dream of fashion design at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising. Prior to that she earned her Bachelors degree in Public Relations from the University of North Texas. She has 6 years in the fashion industry and has worked designing for mass relators like: Target, Walmart, Macy's and smaller boutique companies. After she rescued Maverick, WCC Director of Barketing, she went out to buy him a new wardrobe only to realize there was a need in the market for quality dog clothing with style. She then decided to take her passion for design and love of dogs, merge the two, resulting in Wag City Clothing, a dog lifestyle brand not for the Basic Bitch.
