Purple Thistle Botanicals was created with love and care by Meagan Sonner-Martino, who began crafting handmade artisan soaps, skincare, and bath products with the belief that body care should be a ritual, not a regimen. Meagan’s passion for plants and their healing properties, combined with a desire to find healthful and environmentally friendly alternatives for her family, led to the creation of the brand. She emphasized organic, cruelty-free, locally sourced ingredients wherever possible and committed to avoiding single-use plastic, constantly working toward being a zero-waste producer. In 2024, I, Alyssa Taylor, had the incredible opportunity to step into the role of operator at Purple Thistle Botanicals. Our friendship and shared vision for clean, natural products paved the way for me to take the reins and continue building on Meagan’s beautiful foundation. I’m honored to carry the legacy forward, with a deep commitment to the values Meagan instilled in the business. Since taking over, I’ve found my own passion for small-batch, clean creations flourishing. The community of wholesalers, market vendors, and loyal customers means the world to me, and your support drives everything I do. I also moved into a gorgeous new space above a women-owned flower shop and boutique, which has inspired even more creativity and growth.
