We are Aleathia and Mariyah (right to left), the aunty-niece duo behind Jayida Ché Herbal Tea Spot [jay-e-duh shay]. It is no secret that we love to sip all types of quality tea by ourselves and with family & friends. Jayida Ché, which means good tea began long before we knew it would become a business. It began out of love, care, and passion that Aleathia and Mariyah's family had for living a well and healthy lifestyle. After many years of blending and making teas and Arnold Palmers with a twist for family Sunday dinners, small gatherings, and our personal cups of tea. In 2016 we established Jayida Che and began shipping our teas nationally. In 2017 we opened our first brick and mortar in Atlanta, GA in the historic Ormewood neighborhood and our second location in East Atlanta. In each organic and fair trade loose leaf tea we blend we invite our communi-tea to our family affair. Through Jayida Ché we are able to foster and create spaces where we practice self love, self care, and self development as a communi-tea by sipping tea.
