When we created Pump Pal over three years ago – our vision was to eliminate plastic gloves while protecting our hands from gas pumps. Drivers love the convenience and protection of the plastic gloves that are available at gas stations, but there is no denying that the need for a reusable alternative is present. To meet this need, Pump Pal was born In late 2018 we identified two ongoing problems that have plagued our hands, our environment and our communities – plastic pollution and a lack of sanitary measures taken at fuel pumps. With these two problems being the premise of our motivation; we got to work on "Eco Grip" which you know now as Pump Pal! Finding a solution to eliminating plastic gloves & protecting our hands from gas pump handles didn’t happen overnight. A couple of years ago, we were just two roommates living in Miami— but we had a vision to help eliminate the regular use of disposable gloves running rampant at gas stations. Following 7 different prototypes, countless late nights, and thousands of cups of Cuban coffee, Pump Pal was born. Now, it is available to drivers everywhere. Thanks again! Chris
