About Cheery Human Studios

Cheery Human Studios is an Asian American woman-owned brand based in Los Angeles dedicated to creating bright and encouraging art and stationery goods. Every product is uniquely illustrated by founder and creative director, Kristina Yu. Products include greeting cards, paper collage art prints, stickers, washi tape, suncatcher decals, and more. In 2016, Kristina launched Cheery Human Studios after rediscovering her love for illustration, nearly a decade into her career as a designer in tech. Since then, she has focused on crafting thoughtful gifts and paper goods, hoping to bring the same joy to others that creating them brings to her. In addition to her work at Cheery Human Studios, she collaborates with clients to create illustrations and designs for their editorial, product, publishing, and marketing projects. Additionally, she has begun teaching creative workshops in Los Angeles and hopes to do more in-person and virtual workshops in the near future.
