Lulu organics was founded by me — Linda 'lulu' Aldredge. After a decade of working in the beauty and fashion industry, I wanted to follow more of a passion than a career. I studied herbalism as a hobby and for fun foraged for edible and medicinal herbs on my land in upstate NY. I would boil them down into herbal medicines and beauty products. I was inspired to start a company simply because I felt like my desires weren't met by the corporate beauty industry.

Oyin Handmade is an artisanal manufacturer of moisture-rich personal care products, formulated especially for highly textured hair and dry skin. Since 2003, we have used food-grade ingredients to create high-performance hair and body goodies with clean, good-for-you formulas. We use no sulfates, no parabens, no silicones, no phthalates, and never test on animals. We're unisex, family-friendly, and made with love. Oyin (“oy-yeen”) is the Yoruba word for honey! This ingredient is an incredible natural hydrating ingredient for dry hair, and also reminds us of sweetness, love, and joy - the feelings we seek to inspire in the everyday acts of self-care. Our goal is healthy, happy hair and skin.

Crafted with Purpose defines Samson's integrity and spirit. As the son of a lineman and veteran, Jake and Adam take pride in their work and doing it themselves. With no outsourcing or backdoor chemist, everything is produced on site from start to finish with Jake handling production and Adam relationships. Samson's isn't a conglomerate of marketing professionals and PhD chemists; we are 2 hair obsessed guys focused on delivering a better product.

I am a healthy hair evangelist, a beauty minimalist, and a passionately outspoken supporter of self care. I’ve spent the past 20 years helping real women overcome real challenges by bridging the gap between professional services and at home hair care. My take away? We all abuse our hair.
