What started as a small project in 2016 out of our home has since turned into a full scale production company with our own storefront in Ulen, Minnesota. Owned by Becky Bentley and family operated since 2016, we are committed to quality products at competitive prices with superior service. My family, and I were leaving church one Sunday, when suddenly my mind began to flood with t-shirt ideas I had come up with some time ago for a line of t-shirts. We had been promotional printers for years printing everyone else’s designs for their businesses, churches, teams, pretty much anyone that needed printing. But I had always wanted to have a clothing line of my own. So I developed the line, and started knocking on doors, clothing stores, souvenir shops, boutiques, anyone that would carry a t-shirt. Soon our line was in 4 stores & we were excited about the possibility that this could be the beginning of something really successful! One day, while speaking with a boutique owner in Decatur, Texas, she told me that I should take my line to Dallas Market. So we prayed, and decided to put money that needed to go towards paying rent towards getting a spot at Market, and building a display booth from reclaimed wood. That first market, we made it into 20 stores! Fast forward a few years and we are still growing rapidly, now in over 1000 stores and adding more all the time. We have gone from just the two of us printing, to a team of great employees and great vendors carrying our line who we love. And of course we couldn’t do any of this without the Lord having giving us the inspiration, direction, and determination to do it. And thanks to you, our customers and fans of Mason Jar Label who we appreciate so much.

Our story starts when Dane & Meghann were in a village in Kenya with a group of women whose families had been devastated by AIDs. When we met them, they had found hope and income through the rolling of paper beads, which they made into jewelry. We loved hearing the stories of these women, and we loved their workmanship, and so we bought a whole bunch of jewelry to bring back home to sell to our friends. As we shared their stories with our friends and sent the money back to the women we realized that this is what we wanted to do. We wanted to invest our time in connecting people in developing nations with outlets to sell their goods, and in turn connect the stories of people purchasing items with the stories of those who produced them. We wanted to create an intersection at which their stories could meet. We wanted to change the way people thought about what they purchase, and cause them to investigate the origins of their products, and the conditions in which the creators of their products are working. Our goal is to combat poverty and injustice through business. We want products that we can match faces and names and stories to. We want you to know that there are real people who are receiving real benefits for their labour-- ones who were faced with poverty and hopelessness but have now found hope.

Lauren hand draws everything on her ipad, and then finds high quality items that you use everyday to put those items on - like tshirts, beach towels, tea towels, tote bags, drinkware and more. Pink House on River Road is based in Louisiana and is woman owned. Lauren is a self taught artist (with the help of a few youtube instructional videos too) who has turned a love of doodling into an entire brand of goods that sell out over and over again.

The American Honey started (and is sill located!) in a small, north Georgia town a little south of the Tennessee line. It was founded by a mother and wife who had a passion for creating, designing and a love of fashion. While I was in college, I made plans to own a small business in my retirement. That is, own a business after a very long enjoyable career in education. After graduating from Mississippi State University, I taught for seven days. Just seven. Very. Long. Days. I didn't take me long to realize that teaching for the next thirty years wasn't anywhere near God's plan for me. So to make ends meet, I worked at a bank's call center for a little over a year. In that five by five cubicle with the phones ringing and while simultaneously telling people their checking account balances, The Chester Drawer was dreamed and planned. In April of 2013 after making about $400 at a local festival with crafts that I had made, I left the bank to pursue this business full time. I had nothing but a fresh tax ID number and lots and lots of ideas. Why in the world my husband agreed to this crazy plan, I will never know. We have learned and grown and improved so much in the last ten years. It is truly a joy to be able to share our goods with people like you. I want the items we make to bring a feeling out of person holding it. Laughter. Inspiration. Loyalty. We truly appreciate each of our customers more than you could imagine!
