Our Story Begins... Back in 2020, a week before the world shut down in NYC, Cleo entered my life – a bundle of joy with a coat that was just a little too sensitive. Her discomfort was apparent, and as any devoted pet parent would, I searched high and low for a solution that could ease her irritation without compromising on quality or her well-being. As the founders of Cleo&Hooman, Michael McLafferty and I faced the same concern that vexes many pet parents – the search for grooming products that are gentle yet effective, and most importantly, free from harsh chemicals. The market was overflowing with options, yet none seemed to offer the wholesome care that Cleo, and pets like her, truly deserved. Our Leap of Innovation Armed with our marketing and design expertise, and driven by a shared passion for pets, Michael and I embarked on a transformative journey. Teaming up with a trusted veterinarian, we poured our hearts and professional knowledge into creating Cleo&Hooman. Our goal was to develop grooming products that would be as nurturing to pets' skin as they are kind to the environment. From our hypoallergenic shampoos to our richly nourishing creams, each Cleo&Hooman product stands as a commitment to quality, safety, and luxury—because every pet deserves the best.
