Sara Pilchman first got her taste of creating pottery at four years old in the mountains of Southern California, and over 25 years later her passion is only growing! Trained as an artist and gallerist in rural Pennsylvania, Sara returned to her home in Long Beach, California where she's worked as an arts educator, exhibitions coordinator, and ceramics studio manager for the last decade. Sara Pilchman Ceramics, originally a dishware and barware company, developed TinyPots with the encouragement of her community and its enthusiasm in sharing each handmade piece across the globe. Each one of a kind pot is borne from Sara's love of clay, her meditation on the wheel, her curiosity in the glaze lab, and her tempestuous relationship with a rickety old high fire gas kiln passed down over decades. Each TinyPot has a unique personality of its own, just like their buyers!
