Hi! My name is Tamyra McKay. I’m the Founder of Paunchy Elephant. As a Seattle resident for 30+ years, I have long enjoyed the short but incredibly beautiful Summers here in the Pacific Northwest. I started Paunchy Elephant with the help of my mom, who also loves Summertime and all things barbecue. Mom's barbecue sauce recipe has long been a favorite gift of friends and family. One day she mentioned wanting to sell it in stores and over time, after a bit of research, our brand was created. I've even added personal food and drink favorites of my own that I noticed were missing from most grocery stores, as additional product lines. Drink-mixing and experimenting with different flavor combinations are hobbies of mine. The company's product lines grew from sauce to home-brewed teas to fruit-infused lemonades, and more. Please research shipping costs and options up front if you're outside of the King County, WA area. One of the things that happens most frequently on Faire is retailers ordering, then realizing after-the-fact that 2-3 day shipping of liquid in glass is pricey. We'd love to have you as a partner but feel the shipping disclosure is an important one to make and have you consider for margin and other reasons.
