Twelve miles off the coast of Maine, women are making luxury skincare the old-fashioned way. In the lobstering community of North Haven island, a town where only 385 residents live as full-time residents, owner Fiona Robins is hand-crafting organic skincare inspired by the island. Unlike many organic skincare companies, everything from Island Apothecary is formulated, poured, bottled, labeled and shipped (via ferry) from this small island community. Ingredients are sourced from all over the world and each product is made from at least 90% organic ingredients.
