Hello! My name is Rosalie and I am a nature illustrator and author based in the mountains of West Virginia. Using vibrant watercolors and ink, my illustrations celebrate natural places and invite viewers to take a closer look at their surroundings. I was recently the Artist-in-Residence at Great Smoky Mountains National Park and with the National Audubon Society in Maine. In addition to selling my prints and stickers of my original artwork, I'm also a Skillshare Top Teacher, where I enjoy sharing my passion for painting the natural world with students around the globe. I'm really honored to have created illustrations for clients like The Smithsonian and the U.S. Forest Service. I am the author of "Watercolor in Nature" (Page Street Publishing, 2021) and "Tiny Worlds of the Appalachian Mountains" (Mountaineers Books, 2024), both available wholesale through all book distributors. I package each print by hand in a clear cellophane protective sleeve with a recyclable 4-ply backing board and small card with my artist bio and print info. I work with a local print shop to create each print using richly textured paper and vibrant inks for the look and feel of watercolor paper.
