We are Kim and Daniel, parents and couple, founded Paper Cosmetics with the premise to use only the finest natural ingredients and to leave nothing - or at least as little as possible - behind on the planet. While shopping for eco friendly products, we were struck by lackluster formulations, uninspired design and packaging that was not fully sustainable. Recognizing this void in the marketplace, our entrepreneurial instincts kicked in. Daniel (founder NCLA Beauty) and Kim (whose background is in marketing and graphic design) set out on a mission as life partners: create an elegant, visually compelling natural deodorant that is completely sustainable at every step in the production and consumption process. PAPR Deodorants are free of parabens, silicone, sulfates, aluminum and never tested on animals or include any animal-derived ingredients (PETA certified). Instead, we use a formula of natural, safe, and nourishing ingredients that include tapioca starch, baking soda, silica, castor oil, jojoba ester, coconut oil and shea butter. We only use cold-pressed essential oils or blends of essential oils - never artificial fragrances. Powerful active ingredients, performance driven R&D and dermatologically tested, our products are a cut above. PAPR is a certified carbon neutral company and the production process is fully solar powered. And the best part, when you are done using it, the paper packaging can be recycled or is biodegradable. In 2012 we were working with a lot of natural grocery stores selling an electric toothbrush and our founder Brett realized billions of manual plastic toothbrushes were polluting our oceans and landfills so we decided to do something about it! There were recycled plastic manual toothbrushes but those were still plastic. We wanted to go a step further and in 2013 we developed an eco-friendly bamboo toothbrush with plastic-free packaging. Hello! We are twin sisters Geevie and Sophia and we run our small business out of Minneapolis, MN. We are best known for our sensitive skin deodorant cream and biodegradable lip balm! Our brand was born out of a clear demand for sustainable body care that works. We believe effective products don't have to compromise our health or the environment. You and nature are our top priorities. Everything about our packaging (and shipping!) is completely plastic-free (or damn close), down to our biodegradable labels. We select our natural and organic raw materials based on fair-trade, ethical, and sustainable practices and source locally when possible. DOM’S Deodorant was born from a passion for health. Dominica Sweet, founder of Dom's Deodorant was diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma in 2008. Instead of a set back, she took this challenge as a chance to make healthier choices for herself and her family. Letting go of things that no longer served her, she became more aware of what she was putting in and on her body. Dominica created Dom's Deodorant in 2011 and it has grown steadily ever since. Sadly, Dominica passed away On January 30th, 2020 peacefully with her family and loved ones by her side. Purelygreat is a family business founded in 2011 in Toronto Canada, by Debbie Cohen. As a reflexologist Deb always had a passion for healing and natural products. While attending a local craft fair she came upon a natural deodorant that intrigued her. Over time she fell in love with this cream deodorant and took workshops to learn how to make it.
