While in college, Bella went #vegan because she saw how positively impactful it was for her health, the environment, animals and planet. She instantly fell in love with the lifestyle and knew that she found her calling. Without a business degree, yet wanting to help promote this lifestyle, she created Coconut Whisk with nothing but a few hundred dollars and a grand vision. What began as a simple idea that started in her college apartment has evolved into a forward-thinking lifestyle brand and business that donates a plant-based meal with every purchase. Coconut Whisk's yummy-tasting baking mixes are easy-to-make, dietitian-approved, dairy-free, egg-free, gluten-free, peanut-free, soy-free, non-GMO and made without preservatives or artificial ingredients. From pancakes to muffins to cookies, they make sure to create products that are better-for-you yet indulgent! Bella is also a Mankato Alumni from the College of Nursing & Allied Health Sciences, a 2020 AE Changemaker, MSU- Big Ideas Winner and Speaker.
