Flare Street draws inspiration from our favourite era - the 1960's and 70’s - the most magical and adventurous era that explored self-expression through fashion, art and music! We combined this passion with quality, unique art and ethically sourced fabrics to create a company that is accredited by Ethical Clothing Australia (so is our on-shore factory and our printers). Our flares are limited edition, printed sustainably in small batches in Sydney and made in Melbourne, Australia. We take the love and care of our planet very seriously and are proud to contribute to the slow-fashion movement. Our exclusive fabric prints have been created by fantastic artists around the world and are drawn for Flare Street by hand, with strong 1960’s influences of course! We function as a 100% zero production waste business. All off cut fabrics are recycled in Melbourne and turned into new fibres, couches and socks by our recycling partners. Flare Street uses 100% plastic free packaging, we use compostable satchels, polybags and compostable address labels and tape. All paper is FSC Certified and use soy-based inks & non-toxic chemicals. For the past 4 years, we have been Carbon neutral, including all worldwide shipping. Flare Street is designed for every gender, for every day, for every season.
