For over 10 years, ETHICGOODS has employed women who are survivors of human trafficking and exploitation. Originally founded by Maegan Hawley, ETHICGOODS is now co­-owned by four best friends on a mission to empower others who are becoming entrepreneurs and starting their journey on a new, hope­-filled path. Between the four owners, there are nine ETHIC kiddos. They are a huge part of the ETHICGOODS team and why we continue to fight for freedom. We want to help them see their potential to grow up and be world changers! ETHICGOODS helps to create economic empowerment for women impacted by human trafficking and those at risk of exploitation. We partner with nonprofits primarily in South East Asia that provide holistic care (counseling, education, and healthcare), focus on strengthening the family unit, and demonstrate a community centered approach, so that these women can pave a new hope­ filled path for their families. Each piece is handcrafted by the woman it helps employ. By wearing ETHICGOODS, you become a meaningful part of her story, and contribute to freedom for women around the world because all women deserve dignified employment. In a dusty garage in 2009, with nothing more than an old stamp set and a box of clay, MudLOVE was born. With the Founder's grandmother's stamp set he inherited, a simple stamped clay bracelet went gangbusters, and the startup went from one guy in a garage to a new facility and over 30 employees. ERIK & MIKE: Erik & Mike“ the company, is named after two friends, Erik Caplan and Michael Prentice, who met while visiting Bali in 2001. Working directly with local artisans they developed hand beaded affordable jewelry as Bali was just beginning their bead industry. Erik moved production to India where the product ,shown here on Faire is produced. The Soan collection is hand sewn on to fabric and meticulously cut out of the sewn fabric. Using Czech, calibrated beads produces what I believe is the best quality seed bead jewelry at a great price- Erik. Our hand felted wool product is made by the women artisans in Nepal. We used mid 20th century artists Mark Rothko and Joseph Albers as our inspiration in designing the line. Check back weekly as new merchandise is added to the front pages of the shop or you can see by clicking new arrivals on the left. Half of our customers have been getting Insider free shipping. We have no control on this- its a random algorithm. For those who do not get free shipping, I send samples related to the buy -to offset the shipping cost for all orders over $150. We no longer sell directly to the consumer. Retail website has been closed.
