Hey there, I’m Stephanie, the founder of Charleston Soy Works. My journey as a breast cancer survivor taught me to pay closer attention to what we put in and on our bodies. During treatment, I was shocked to learn about the hidden toxins in everyday products—especially candles and bath essentials. The idea that these items, meant to bring comfort, could actually harm our health inspired me to create a safer alternative. That’s why I founded Charleston Soy Works. I wanted to craft something better—candles that don’t just smell amazing but are also safe and free of harmful chemicals. Even better, I wanted them to be more than just candles. So, I developed lotion candles that melt into warm, nourishing oil for your skin, combining relaxation, self-care, and wellness into one product. Each candle is handmade with organic soy wax, natural shea butter, and almond oil. They’re clean-burning, non-toxic, and luxurious—designed to fill your home with fragrance while also pampering your skin. At Charleston Soy Works, it’s about more than candles—it’s about creating moments of peace, comfort, and a little everyday luxury.
