FloofAndFlump features colourful, fun and creative greeting cards to celebrate all kinds of occasions. I aim for my designs to be unique, cute and personal; the kind of cards that someone will want to keep on display for a long, long time. You will see lots of 'just because' and 'everyday' cards featured at FloofAndFlump - cards created to send just because you want to, for no reason other than to reach out to someone. These are my favourite kind of cards to make. Gestures like sending a little something in the mail can really mean big. You can make someone's day! All designs are created and produced by me - Laura - and are inspired by all the best things in life. I use a combination of pencils, fine liners and acrylic paint to draw initial designs. I then scan or photograph each design and digitally re-touch them so they are card-ready. Animal conservation and protection is important to me. All of my elephant designs were created in support of the Lao Elephant Initiative - an amazing non-profit that works tirelessly to save Asian elephants in Laos. FloofAndFlump is named after my two cats - both of whom are extremely fluffy and lie around like lumps. Cats are a key feature of my designs and it is through my pet-inspired creations that I found a really lovely market and some of my most favourite ideas to date!
