SANUUS® is a German company that specializes in the production of healthy and natural products. The name of the SANUUS® brand is derived from the Latin word “sanus”, which means “healthy.” The SANUUS® brand has two U's in its name, which stand for “original” and “independent.” 1910: Hans Anwander, the grandfather of our founder Andrea, takes over the farm of his father Franz in a long-standing tradition and works as a farmer in the Allgäu region. 1959: After his 4 older brothers died in the war, Rupert Anwander (*27.3.1927) takes over the farm of his father, who died in 1943, and continues to produce grain and food. 2010: Andrea Anwander, her husband Behzad Azimian, are working on new products almost 100 years later and, with Capillum AMOVE, are the first to bring powdered depilatory cream based on an old Oriental recipe to the European market. 2020-2022: At the beginning of 2020, Andrea comes up with a new creative idea and remembers her father's farm: organic vegetable powder with regional grains as a natural baking mix. The new SANUUS® brand marks the return to the food market and the grain trade. 2022-Today: A return to the roots in agriculture. Start of organic hemp cultivation with contract farmers & grain trade in the Allgäu region for the own brand SANUUS® and for B2B trade. SANUUS thus wants to make the “Ällgäu” location fit for the future in the hemp industry.
