Zimego Bags are designed in California, and produced by a certified manufacturer in Vietnam. Born in Seoul, South Korea in the early 2000s, Zimego started as a modest backpack brand. Its name, properly pronounced “zim-meh-go” is a play on Korean words, meaning “proceeding as one bears baggage” and “amigo,” or friend. The bag brand shortly faced closure amidst an economic recession which stifled the business’s ability to grow. Today, it returns as a bag brand once again, developed with a curated collection of fabrics that pay homage to American WWII production lines, and South Korea’s history of textiles. Zimego bags are designed for versatility, good for any use such as travel, work, university, school, etc.
