McPherson Goods was started by Scott McPherson in 2011. As a touring drummer, travel and the bags with which he travelled with were essential. Growing up with the love of antiques inherited from his dad who brought him along to old car swap meets and antique shops. These two worlds collide when Scott began to design and make bags. First it was tote bags and purses and the like. After a while cymbal and stick bags for himself and friends. Thus began TACKLE Instrument Supply Co. After running that company for 10 years he decided it was time to go back to making bags for civilians.
