Founded in 2017 by Dina DiCenso and Joshua Katcher, in Brooklyn, NY, RIND has quickly raised the bar on plant-based cheese. RIND's sofi™ Gold award-winning cave-aged vegan cheese is the first and only plant-based cheese to be sold in Whole Foods Market's highly curated artisanal dairy cheese case. RIND also produces rich and creamy spreads and introduced the world's first carrot-based cheese slices, which won a sofi™ Best New Product award in 2022. The company continues to innovate by developing and introducing new products. RIND expanded its veggie line by introducing parsnip and red bell pepper cheeses to complement its popular carrot variety as part of the new Veggie Underground brand.
