Roma Kawa Coffee Roasters was founded in 2006 along the shore of Lone Lake near Bagley, Minnesota. Our first blend was named after this very spot as Lakeside Breakfast Blend and remains a top seller today. Roma consists of the combination of the two owner's names Robert and Mary. Kawa is the Polish name for coffee as Mary is of 100% Polish decent. As a non-coffee drinker at the time, Robert would often taste Mary's different coffee varieties she brought home. Robert slowly developed a taste for coffee and decided to experiment with roasting a variety of green beans in his pursuit for a better cup of coffee. Eventually a coffee roasting operation was started out of the home and quickly outgrew this location. Fast forwarding a few years and the coffee roastery is located at the only stoplight in Bagley, Minnesota. Roma Kawa Coffee Roasters produces hand-crafted high-quality coffee beans from around the world. We are thankful for the opportunity to now provide coffee online, partner with businesses for resale and provide great enjoyment of a better cup of coffee.
